Normally I don’t shop at Claire’s. I’ve outgrown the place a longgggg long time ago. But today I was in desperate need of a pair of earrings (for my sorority formal this coming weekend) and ended up with a great find.

This baby was only $5.50! I loveeee it. Claire’s had a couple other Hello Kitty jewelery items, but most were either really cheap looking or too kiddish. This was the only good thing they had.
I really love chunky plastic rings. Here’s another Hello Kitty ring I bought awhile back at some jewelery store off Newbury Street:
…except this one is not officially Sanrio. Can’t you tell by the way she’s so demented? It’s hand-painted on the back of the plastic ring. I don’t know why, but when I saw it, I had to have it.
