These past few months the media has been in a been a frenzy surrounding the Eliot Spitzer case and Edison Chen. I just wanted to point out the cultural differences between how Eastern culture reacts so much differently than the West to these two sex scandals.

Basically, Asian culture has no tolerance for this type of behavior. Edison is now blacklisted in the HK entertainment industry and will probably have trouble finding a job for the rest of his life. Ashely Dupré, on the other hand, is pretty much set for life. Don’t you just love how America eats this stuff up?
